TELCOR Introduces Outreach Middleware

Lincoln, Nebraska – March 3, 2010 – TELCOR is excited to announce the launch of Outreach Middleware, a new Outreach Information System® product designed to allow hospital laboratories to improve their billing process for outreach services, while still utilizing the hospital’s Patient Accounting system.  TELCOR recognizes that each hospital’s billing processes are different, and Outreach Middleware can provide the tools needed to allow the laboratory to take control of creating complete, clean and compliant transactions and correcting requisition errors before they reach Patient Accounting, while providing the flexibility to provide client bills. 

This unique piece of software provides many benefits to hospital laboratories providing outreach services, such as reducing denials, improving cash flow and improving workflow.  With Outreach Middleware, hospital laboratories can now create customized client invoices that reflect flexible pricing options and manage and monitor their profitability more closely.  Hospital outreach laboratories can use Outreach Middleware to manage the validation and processing via rules to create complete and clean transactions.  Then, the patient charges can be sent to the Patient Accounting System or billed through TELCOR’s Outreach Middleware solution, as a Client Bill transaction.
